The Fish alphabet

I have found a recent fascination with naturalist drawings of animals, and in particular fish. Creating an alphabet catalogue of various fish from around the world was a personal project that I have wanted to do for a while, with the intention of educating myself (and perhaps some other people) about some lesser known fish species. Showing the vibrancy of aquatic life in both a painted polymer clay and watercolour style - the latter was a little tongue and cheek on my part (I know, I rolled my eyes too) but I do think this style really lends itself to the blended colours and loose shapes a lot of these fish present.

The models were made out of super sculpey polymer clay and painted using Vallejo model paints.
